Greg Black “Joseph Alessi” Model A2M Modular Tenor Trombone Mouthpiece - Silver

This is a rather rare small bore Greg Black tenor trombone mouthpiece. This mouthpiece was designed with and for Joseph Alessi at some point in the past. This model is no longer made, but is very similar to the modern New York series. This mouthpiece is on the smaller end, and would be suitable for the rare principal trombone on a small bore tenor, or for an alto trombonist looking for a larger and darker sound. Some of the finest craftsmanship in mouthpieces in the world, during an earlier period of Greg Black manufacturing. Threaded to fit all standard Greg Black rims.

Grade B “A used mouthpiece bearing only moderate dings or dents which do not affect playability. May have moderate scratches and insertion marks. Plating is 90%+ intact with only minor wear, primarily on the shank. In the case of gold plating, plating is only slightly fading. Tarnish may be present. Mouthpiece shows only minor signs of shank repair, if any. Shank is perfectly round. No signs of other repairs.”
