The company began with Tamre Rowe exploring gold plating options for his mouthpieces. As a Canadian, he noticed the distinct lack of affordable options for Canadians. Rather than dismiss it as fate, he got to work. Investments were made into gold electroplating equipment. Through significant research and development, plating mouthpieces became a feasible option. Rather than upcharge for the service, he began offering it as an affordable, high-quality option for Canadian and international brass musicians. As demand grew, T. Rowe Mouthpieces was formed.

While initially only plating mouthpieces, the need for more specialized brass mouthpieces in Canada grew. A small collection began, with our company gradually investing in various rare and unique mouthpieces. By plating in-house, we are able to pass savings on to our buyers.

Today, we have served dozens of clients from all across the world, making gold plated mouthpieces available and affordable to everybody.
