Denis Wick #4 Cornet Mouthpiece [BARGAIN BIN]

This is a fantastic V-cupped cornet mouthpiece. Absolutely a professional mouthpiece, and would be fantastically well suited to brass band and classical cornet playing. Fully gold plated.

The mouthpiece has a slightly damaged rim, that’s all. It has this strange “frosted” look that I’ve been unable to get rid of. I’ve never seen it on any other mouthpiece. It doesn’t seem to affect comfort or playability at all. Mostly a cosmetic issue.

The way I ended up with this mouthpiece is pretty strange. I had a client send this to me for a replating, which I did. Upon first glance at the photo of it, he had some rather unkind things to say about it. I did exactly as promised, but we were unable to work anything out. He refused to pay me for my work and time, and eventually ghosted me. I was threatened with court twice, plus a lot of insults. Quite the guy. I kept the mouthpiece, as he refused to pay or negotiate anything.

After a lot of headaches, my loss is your gain. It’s a great mouthpiece.
