1980s Vincent Bach 1X Trumpet Mouthpiece - Gold Cup & Rim

This is a very nice semi-modern example of a Bach 1X. The 1X is a common symphonic size played by players desiring a very large mouthpiece, and preferring the older feel and sound of earlier Bach manufacturing. The 1X is Bach’s take on the original Model 1 trumpet mouthpiece. Ideal for classical and symphonic work, but can also be used in brass band settings or in any situations where a round, dark sound is desirable.

The cup and rim of this mouthpiece are freshly 24K gold plated.

Grade A “A like-new mouthpiece bearing only very minor dings or dents which do not affect playability. May have minor scratches and insertion marks. Plating is 100% intact with no wear, though tarnish may be present. In the case of gold plating, plating is bright and has not started to fade. Mouthpiece shows no signs of previous damage or repair, and has a perfectly round shank.”
