Few mouthpieces live up to the fame and legacy of this era. There are \u003cem\u003ethousands\u003c\/em\u003e of copies, but none are \u003cem\u003equite\u003c\/em\u003e the same as an authentic Mount Vernon Bach. Many legendary players preferred this era of equipment, and therefore it is ideal for both collectors and avid players. Due to the handmade nature of these mouthpieces, they are all unique and versatile in their own way, and no two are quite the same, even if their stamps may lead you to believe so. Shank wear is visible, but very minor. The cup and rim is 24K gold plated. Outstanding condition for its age. Minor scratching appears throughout, particularly on the body of the mouthpiece.
