I’ve never seen it on any other mouthpiece. It doesn’t seem to affect comfort or playability at all. Mostly a cosmetic issue.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe way I ended up with this mouthpiece is pretty strange. I had a client send this to me for a replating, which I did. Upon first glance at the photo of it, he had some rather unkind things to say about it. I did exactly as promised, but we were unable to work anything out. He refused to pay me for my work and time, and eventually ghosted me. I was threatened with court twice, plus a lot of insults. Quite the guy.
